Teachers and students develops Joomla webpages

Who says only IT professionals can make webpages?

Seven pairs of english-major teachers and students proved that anyone – even non-IT -people can make webpages too. They represented their schools to a web development training conducted by NORMISIST to its seven recipient high schools in Butuan City last week.

The web development training exposed the participants to the basics of Joomla which is an open-source software use to develop webpages.

All participants developed structured lay-outs of the website which they look forward to putting online this year.

One student said during the closing ceremony that she never thought she can create webpages of her own using Joomla. Her teacher continued by saying that this will not be the end of exploring Joomla, but just the beginning of it all.
