Two members of the iSchools team, Engr. Demetillo and Engr. Dellosa went straight ahead to San Francisco, Agusan del Sur from Butuan City @ 6AM. Air21 together with the ASI (Global Solutions, Inc.) were expected to leave Butuan City at the same time.

Engr. Demetillo and Engr. Dellosa were at the school by 8:00AM but Air21 and ASI were not yet there. Communications were made with Air21 group and the iSchools team was informed that there were problems with the forwarder not following the requirements on the flooring protection. The flooring protection should serve as protection for accumulated rain water on the truck. Caraga is experiencing bad weather conditions, intermittent strong rains at the start of the week and deployment are pursued based on the committed dates.

The team was advised that AIR21 with the ASI will be leaving in Butuan City by 11AM. They arrived in ASNHS at 2pm, with Mr. Jaymer Jayoma accompanied the group on their way to ASNHS.

To speed up unloading, some students from ASNHS with AIR21 took down all units for ASNHS. At 2:30pm, all units were unloaded and checked by representatives from the school, iSchool team and AIR21. The principal, Mr. Teodoro Plaza with the procurement officer of the school signed the documents needed by AIR21 as acceptance to the computers and peripherals or accessories delivered to them.

Following the signing, AIR21 proceeded to another school in LNHS with two representatives from the ASI and another member of the iSchools team.

One representative from ASI (Global Solutions, Inc.) remained for the set-up and installation. By 330pm, after the team had their snack, the set-up began.

To speed up the set-up and installation, two technicians from ASNHS with members of the iSchools team helped out. There were NO missing or lacking items were recorded during set-up and installation. Cables were also complete.

By 630pm, all PC hardwares were connected. The server was configured and the printer was set-up. Test prints were done. PCs were turned on and installed with the desktop backgrounds for ischools. There were some minor problems with the desktop noted and were immediately addressed by the ASI representative.

Wifi was also tested immediately upon set-up. PCs were able to get signals from both the router and from a nearby open Wifi. Internet was tested immediately and found to be ok. We were able to check our mails as well.

By 8pm, the ASI technician continues to set-up connection by each of the PCs to the server to complete the connection of computers. By 10pm, all computers were connected to the server.

NO MAJOR problems were encountered in the PC deployment here in ASNHS.

The computers were all left turned on and will be checked again the following day.
