Much has been done so far with the iSchools project in Caraga. But have you known the people behind the team of the project working to provide 21 computers, 1 LCD projector and 1 – year free internet connection to seven public high schools in Caraga Region?

Mr. Jaymer Jayoma

Mr. Jayoma is on his first year as the Chairman of the Information Technology Department of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) in the Northern Mindanao State Institute of Science and Technology (NORMISIST), Butuan City.

He holds a master degree in Computer Science from the Ateneo de Davao University, in Davao City. He graduated his bachelor’s degree in BS Computer Science from the Mindanao State University in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur in March 1999.
Mr. Jayoma joined NORMISIST in June 2000 as an instructor in BS Computer Science and BS Information Technology.
He has three children to Mrs. Maricor Jayoma.

Engr. De
metillo is an Electronics and Communications Engineer by profession. Prior to joining NORMISIST in 2003, Engr. Demetillo had worked in various organizations and companies and on the different field of his profession.
Engr. Demetillo holds the chairmanship of the engineering department of CEIT. He graduated from the Northern Mindanao Polytechnic State University in Cagayan de Oro City in March 1997.
He is currently fulfilling the remaining requirements for his Masters of Engineering (MoE) degree from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro City.
He has four children to Mrs. Charina T. Demetillo.

Engr. Jeffrey T. Dellosa
Technical writer, iSchools Project
NORMISIST Caraga

Engr. Dellosa is an Electronics and Communications Engineer (ECE). He completed his BSECE degree from the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) in March 2000. He joined Philips Semiconductors Philippines, Inc. in Cabuyao, Laguna on May 2000 as a New College Graduate (NCG). He passed the ECE board exam on November while working with Philips.
While he was in Philips, he wrote a technical paper entitled: "Thermo-mechanical performance of SOT428 package using a thin leadframe". The paper was selected as the Best Technical Paper of the year in 2006 during the Council for Technical Competence (CTC) Symposium in Philips. He presented his technical paper in the Asia-wide Philips Semiconductors Technical Symposium. The same paper was presented during the IEEE's Electronics Packaging Technical Conference in Singapore on December 2006. The paper was also selected for oral presentation at the University of Hong Kong on December 2006. Hence these achievements was his passport to working as a technical writer for the ischools project by CICT along with the chairmen of the CEIT.
He was a Sr. Assembly and Development Engineer, a project leader of a number of top management projects while in Philips Semiconductors. However, he moved to Butuan City with his family in 2007 and joined NORMISIST as an instructor in ECE starting SY 2007-2008.
He is married to Dr. Marie Antoinette Abao-Dellosa (Neurologist) and has one child named Mariella Jeanne.
